Becoming a parent starts as a feeling and an idea and follows us throughout our life.
Αt Femiliarise, you can find services which will assist you during this journey.

Pre-Conception
Preparation for conception can positively impact both fertilisation and pregnacy outcome.
During the consultation, you can expect to:
- Acknowledge your menstrual cycle pattern, its function, your body's needs as well as the fertility window.
- Develop an individualised plan to optimise fertility and prepare your body for conception.
The plan is based on exercise, nutrients, and lifestyle.
This service is also beneficial if you are planning to follow a fertility treatment plan or oocyte cryopreservation.
Pregnacy
Pregnancy is a period where physiological and dynamic changes occur in the body in order to nurture the developing fetus and prepare you and your baby for labour and delivery.
At Femiliarise, the pregnancy consultations follow the guidelines of the Norwegian Directorate of Health (at 8-12, 24, 28, 32, 36, 38, 40 weeks). However, you can also book appointments outside of the mandatory programme.
Sometimes, both hereditary and epigenetic factors can alter this physiological process. In this case you will be refered to specialist healthcare services.
The aim is to provide safe and holistic care for you and your baby with focus on information and continuity.
If you wish to have an in depth conversation about a specific topic, you can schedule a midwife consultation.

Postpartum
Postpartum or the fourth trimester is a healing and adapting period.
However, it takes almost one full year for a woman to recover both physically and mentally from birth.
The way each woman, couple and family experiences this period varies from person to person and depends on many factors.
At Femiliarise you have the option of choosing between one and three home visits for breastfeeding support after birth. These visits will be tailored to your needs to provide reassurance and comprehensive assistance during this transformative period.
Reflecting on your birth experience can be vital for healing and developing natural tools for recovery. In addition, we can discuss newborn care, pelvic floor and pelvis recovery, and address any other concerns you may have to ensure a holistic support after birth.
Birth preparation
Labo(u)r is the journey. Preparation is the map.
This interactive course will guide you through the physiology of birth on physical, psychological, and spiritual levels. Creating a birth space that reflects your preferences and needs can significantly enhance your birth experience, no matter where it takes place.
The aim of this course is to help you trust your body and give birth in your own way. Whether you have given birth before or it is your first time. Whether you feel excitement, worry or a mix of both. If you are planning for a natural birth, a vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC), or you have experienced a challenging birth before.
During the course, I will share all the information, tools, and secrets I have gathered over the years in my international practice as a midwife. But you will create your own roadmap- birth plan.
